The operators of a cargo ship that caused the deadly Baltimore bridge collapse has reached a major settlement with the Department of Justice. The Singapore-based owner and manager of the Dali container ship agreed to pay $102 million in clean-up costs.

The suit by the Justice Department was filed last month and laid out what investigators had learned about the ship’s short and catastrophic journey.
