Buck Woodall claims the awards contender stole ideas from a screenplay he wrote, while Disney says the works aren't similar.

Disney has been sued for $10 billion by an animator named Buck Woodall, who claims film producer Jenny Marchick conspired with Disney's film and television production companies to use his ideas for a Polynesian-inspired animated film titled 'Bucky' for 2016's 'Moana' and its 2024 sequel 'Moana 2.

On Friday, animator Buck Woodall sought legal action against Disney, accusing the company of copying components of an animated film he wrote, “Bucky” and using them to create the Moana movies.
