With the Jets once again looking for a new head coach, the team will reportedly interview New Jersey native Darren Rizzi.

Could the Jets go with a Jersey guy as their next head coach? Well, it can’t be ruled out because a New Jersey native was just added to the list of candidates for their open head coaching job. The Jets requested permission from the Saints to interview their interim coach Darren Rizzi,

There are 12 candidates and counting that have been reported to have already interviewed or have interviews on the books with the Jets as of Monday afternoon. Mike Vrabel, who most recently was the head coach of the Tennessee Titans from 2018-23, had reportedly a positive interview in New York.
