The 27-11-1 Winnipeg Jets will host the 15-17-4 Anaheim Ducks from Canada Life Centre on Thursday evening. Returning home following a quick 24-hour road trip to Colorado on Tuesday night, the Jets will look to bounce back following the loss against the Avalanche as they begin their season-high eight-game homestand.

The New Jersey Devils lost 3-2 to the Anaheim Ducks on New Year’s Eve, dropping their second consecutive road game. The Devils controlled the game early but got into penalty trouble in the second period,

Ryan Strome scored the tiebreaking goal with 3:24 to play, and the Anaheim Ducks blew a two-goal lead in the third period before recovering for a 3-2 victory over the New Jersey Devils.

For the final game of 2024, the Anaheim Ducks and the New Jersey Devils faced off to ring in the new year. Although the Devils made an impressive comeback in the third period, it was the Ducks who would be victorious 3-2 on home ice.
