Astronomer CEO Andy Byron resigns on heels of Coldplay scandalAndy Byron, the CEO of Astronomer who was caught in an embrace at a Coldplay concert with the company’s chief people officer Kristin Cabot, has resigned his position. Astronomer, which is a private data infrastructure and operations company, announced the move on social media Saturday, a day after it announced both were on leave.
DeJoy was named Astronomer’s interim CEO after Byron was placed on leave following his alleged cheating scandal.
Astronomer CEO Byron was shown romantically holding his company's chief people officer, Kristin Cabot, at a recent Coldplay concert.
"Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy is currently serving as interim CEO given Andy Byron has been placed on leave," a statement from the company read. The decision came after Byron was spotted hugging a woman, later identified as Kristin Cabot.
Cabot appears to be married to Privateer Rum’s CEO, as private records show they’re co-owners of a $2.2 million New Hampshire home.
