A federal appeals panel will hear arguments Tuesday to determine whether President Trump or California Gov. Newsom will control the state’s National Guard. Trump’s decision to federalize the Guard was ruled unconstitutional by a judge last week.
"The President has chosen to protect federal officers and LA citizens because Governor Newsom has refused to do so," Rep. Kevin Kiley told Newsweek.
