The Albanese government has announced an additional $7.2 billion to upgrade and fix one of the most dangerous roads in Australia, the Bruce Highway in Queensland.

The proposals aim to ensure 92% of patients are seen within 18 weeks for pre-planned care such as hip and knee replacements.
