A flight instructor was giving a lesson when heard the radio call the moment before a midair collision that killed two at an airport near Tucson.

After the two-plane collision at the Marana Regional Airport on Wednesday morning, we spoke to a pilot who says he was in the air at the time of the crash.

The plane that landed safely was operated by the Chandler location of a flight school. Two people died in the crash.

It marks the second fatal incident at an Arizona airport in the past 10 days. On Feb. 10, the pilot of a private jet owned by Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil was killed after a runway collision between two aircraft at Scottsdale Airport.
