Cavs player suffers injury at NBA Summer League; won’t play in second game
Porter, the third-year player who was expected to be one of the on-court leaders for the summer Cavs, will not play in the second tournament game on Saturday afternoon because of left hamstring soreness. It’s unclear whether Porter will be available for either of the two remaining games — Sunday vs. Miami and Wednesday against Sacramento.
Cavs top Bucks 93-83 to pick up first Summer League win
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Nae’Qwan Tomlin scored 22 to lead the Cavaliers to their first win of the NBA Summer League. After a one-point loss to the Pacers to open their summer league slate, the Cavaliers led by as much as 19 and beat the Milwaukee Bucks 93-83.
The Pacers allowed 38 points off turnovers and made just 8-of-42 3-point attempts in a 104-85 loss to the Thunder in NBA Summer League play.
