A former letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service has pleaded guilty to stealing checks and debit and credit cards then selling them to accomplices, using the pilfered money to fund a luxury lifestyle of trips to the Caribbean and Instagram brags with piles of cash, officials say.

Despite a visit from law enforcement in December, prosecutors say a former U.S. Postal Service worker continued to make purchases with stolen credit and debit cards and a second search of her home yielded additional stolen items.

A California postal worker allegedly stole credit, debit cards and checks to fuel a lavish lifestyle that included luxurious tropical vacations and Rolex watches she flaunted on social media.
