Golden State could still look to test the Heat's resolve when it comings to retaining Butler. After all, Erik Spoelstra's team doesn't project to be a contender in the Eastern Conference this season, and Butler is the ideal trade chip to bring some assets into the franchise to help facilitate a potential rebuild or re-tooling process.
