(Previously had a 96 Civic that went through Yokohamas, Nitto NT555, Continentals) So I’ve been through quite a few brands and models. Even when speed ratings were introduced 40 years ago - and tires were pretty bad back then - it was uncommon for a tire not to make an S rating. The exceptions are winter tires (for obvious reasons) and the larger tires needed for pickups - LT metrics, for example.

May 24, 2016 · I'm not 100% up to date on what is still available or not, but to add to what has been already said: Michelin Primacy MXV4, Pirelli Cinturato P7, Goodyear Eagle RS-A. They are more grand touring tires than hardcore summer tires, but since you asked for all rounders these give a great compromise between comfort, dry grip, and wet performance.
