WEBDec 22, 2019 · Curved are nice but more of a fad than a premium (except in costs) feature. There is nothing to suggest curved monitors provide better images or a better gaming experience. The marketing hype makes them sound great, and in theory they should be better (at least for the one user sitting in the ideal position).

WEBSep 8, 2017. #13. disassemble it carefuly and look for barcode lable on panel. it will have part number of panel printed on it. look by part number for replacemnt panel in ebay/amazone/ and google. there are shops that disassemble damamged/old electronics and sell what is still working as spare parts. you might get lucky.

I do not recommend pulling at any of the corners; if they are leveraged up it will definitely break the panel. Driving the wedge of the trim tool into the side of the monitor cover seemed to be the best way to get the clips to pop out.

You might have to strip all the way to almost motherboard-free in order to get to all the screw locations, and for an untrained person, all those wires will be daunting. 1. 2.
