Quadro 4000 driver installation problem with Windows 10 - Avid …
Jun 14, 2022 · The Quadro 4000 driver that was installed by Windows during the installation was Nvidia v376.84. I then installed Media Composer 2018.12. On startup, MC tells me that the Nvidia v376.84 is not supported for the Quadro 4000, and I need to install v353.82. I downloaded the Nvidia v353.82 driver (an .exe file) which states it's for Windows 10 Pro.

Jan 5, 2020 · The MC version matrix shows the supported nvidia and AMD drivers along with ***353.82. The note at the bottom says this driver is for the original Quadro 4000 (not the K4000, M4000, or P4000 that shipped later). Maybe there is another webpage that does not list this as clearly. I will alert Nora on the ReadMe discrepancy. Marianna

Nov 4, 2012 · The edit machine with the Quadro 4000 may have dropped off the qualified list since MC6 (I'm not sure), but it runs MC6 very well and as our main edit suite I'm loath to stray too far from the reccomended (edit 2 in my specs). However my non-critical self-build machine at home (edit 1 in my specs) is a Core i7 with an FX3700 - and it flies!
