Jan 28, 2025 · The Los Angeles Lakers are not expected to trade for either Nikola Vucevic or Jakob Poeltl, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line. The Bulls continue to seek a first-round pick for Vucevic, with the Warriors rumored to be interested. Walker Kessler, another rumored Lakers target, is "essentially unavailable" in trade talks.

I don't think either has positive trade value. Chicago should just buyout Vucevic and let him go where he wants and trade LaVine for anything they can get. I suspect they'll have to add value to move him, but I'd be calling Brooklyn about a LaVine for Simmons swap if the Nets are trying to avoid giving up a lottery pick to Houston again.
