Jan 12, 2024 · What is the "optimum" speaker setup for PC gaming? Is it 2.1, 5.1, 7.1, etc.? Basically, do modern PC games support multichannel setups like 5.1 or 7.1? What about a full-blown Atmos setup? How many PC games support Atmos?
Should I keep my KRK 6 G2 + KRK10S or use Gaming PC Speakers?
Jan 7, 2005 · I suggest against getting any kind of "pc speakers" get either monitors or a nice AV stereo 2.1 or 3.1 setup or go 5.1 or 7.1 if your into surround sound. but on the pc i feel high quality stereo is where it is at.

Jan 30, 2018 · That's not a new game, it's like 6 year old, on a custom indie engine written from scratch - it's not a good game to gauge pc performance, as it behaves wildly differently on different systems. It's possible to have a rig that gets 120+ fps in Crysis3 / BF1 etc get only 30-60 unstable fluctuating fps in PoE.

With gaming, the qualities of audio reproduction that are useful for competition are just about the opposite of what most people want for music, movies, and a theatrical gaming experience. Basic example: too much bass will drown out detail.

Sep 14, 2020 · If all he wants is gaming then wired is not going to make a difference over a properly setup and ranged wifi 6. He can do what he wants I suppose. I run Fiber ethernet in my house and technically I could measure latency in Nanoseconds with the big delay being the actual processing of the light pulses into digital data and ethernet protocol.
